Little Big Planet, new footage

Holy crap, I thought it looked good from the other videos alone :O

Want.

This looks surprisingly awesome. I don't know if it would hold my interest for very long (I bought GMod and then promptly played it for maybe 10 hours total), but it might end up being a system-seller.

Haha, I love those little guys. Just imagine the sh17loads of user content O.O

Indeed. Sandbox games like these are entertaining for a bit, but then you realize there's very little to them outside of what you're doing. And in that realization, you think, "This is actually pretty boring." And there goes the game.

But it looks great visually, and seems like it'd prove for a fun diversion when you're already bored.

I think the appeal comes from the idea of an unlimited number of user created levels available to you, not so much the ability to create them yourself. At least for me it does.

I will definitely buy this game.

I love the potential in games like this, but it's almost too much choice, you know? Whenever I loaded up Gmod, I was thinking "Okay, cool... Now what the hell do I do?" And once I'd actually started something, I'd either become frustrated at its difficulty, or lose interest due to its simplicity.

I've never really cared for editors, ever. Over the whole ~15 years I've been gaming I've never really gotten into anything remotely like this. :(

In saying that, the graphics/style looks awesome and I think I could have a lot of fun if I have some friends to play it with and mess around or play levels made by those who will dedicate insane amount of time (You know there will be people like this).

It didn't really capture my interest much (I find Gmod a lot more flexible for making stuff). But the graphics are neat, and the style is brilliant.

The appeal in this for me comes not from simply editing and playing, but editing with friends and others on the internet and then playing with even more people.

Agreed - it's being able to play these games with 4 friends combined with how user friendly it looks that makes Little Big Planet special.

Just look at the first footage again - it still looks like great fun after umpteen viewings :)

The game comes bundled with a load of pre-made levels and there's bound to be 100's within a few weeks of release.

Just when I didn't think it could get any cuter or cooler!!

Must-have title. Everyone with a PS3 will buy this.

Cute game, creating amd sharing custom levels must be great! Also physics in platform game looks very impressive.
