Something else, i want those computers to break, and aminate, i tried using prop_dyanamic* and it still didnt break when i shoot.that is prop_static show though, only the computer.mdl showed up. help please?
 
do you have cubemaps?

also i dont think they can break....so dont bother.
 
yeah the moniter and the computer can brake but the mnouse and keyboard carn't.
You make the 4 of them a prop_physics entity ;)
 
like i told you before..you just enable "developer 1" when you run the game..itll tell you everything.
 
If you use prop_dynamic_override you can change the health compiled into the model. You'll also be able to use models not intended to be used as dynamic props.
 
i tried physics, and it didnt work, and do i do developer 1 in the console or in the compile options.

another this, when i use prop_physics, it doesnt show up til i shoot where the object is.
 
that sounds like it would be the draw distance...make sure its not a small number
 
"start fade distance" -1
"end fade distance" 0

and don't forget to put the cubemaps and build them
buildcubemaps
 
the monitor looks unusually bright. i thought that was the problem he was referring to.

Well, if you read his question instead of just looking at the screens you might have known what he was struggling with!

The tower being missing is his problem, I thought it was a prop_physics myself...

Because otherwise, the stuff with reflections won't look right. (Switch to deagle and you'll see)
