Little help?

First off, yes I am a newbie, and yes I realize there have probaly been THOUSANDS of these threads befor, so please....go easy on me, huh?

I borrowed Half-Life 2 from my friend (you guys might know him as 'Th3 Unstoppabl3 Goos3' if you play CS). Now beofre I continue, let me just point out, the only reason I haven't purchased this is becuase i have no money. anywho, so i get home and I put in all my disks and install the game. Now, you guys can all probably guess what happened next. Yup, thats right, I couldn't use the CD key. And he went away to Vancouver Island for the weekend so i can't use his account stuff. so thats why I am here. Is there anyone who would be willing to share an account on steam (give me user name and password) for a limited time? It would be ver helpful, and i would appreciate it immensly. This is my nights entertainment sadly. A steam account basically binded with someones cd key is their money, which you want them to lend to a complete stranger...you. Its not going to happen buddy, sorry. You are correct though, find your mates steam account email and password and you are sorted. Until then your thread is gonna go bye byes

You *could* get a cd key right now, of EBay, but to be honest you'd probably get scammed. Your best bet, is to, as they say, buy the game. Money is a problem, yes, but... it's your best bet.

Besides waiting for your mate, of course.

ok i can help there, see i'm a MODDER. buts thats nothing to do with the subject, lol... anyway the only CD key's you can get are :sniper: bye one for £12 i think?? or (i think still?) use a KeyGen *key generator* lol
my mate used one, because i have 2 PC's but there all taken.. if you try you might hit gold!

why?: well, you can use KeyGen all you want, they cant detect it . PLUS:: it's not like a virus or something, it's the exact same thing as a calculator!!!! it generates numbers, it's another form of calculator, lol////
