Little .mdl help

does anyone know where to find just a straight rail, just a rail. or maybe a little metel fence., but a small 1, need 1, but i cant find any so does any1 have costom ones or am i need finding em ?:smoking:

youll probably have to make your own model....but be aware that this will be a real bitch to do if you dont already know how to do it. if you MUST make a model, go to the models and skins forum and they will tell you what to do. if you want an easier way to do it....make the railing out of a brush and turn it into a func detail.

This can't be done as brushwork tied as a func_detail becuase?

yeah man....it aint worth goin through all the crap in making a model and stuff just to make a hand rail. If you want to make a model youll need 3d studio or XSI or some other 3d modeling prog. if you dont already have those....and dont know how to use them....youre in some big ****ing trouble. func_detail it.

you make something out of brushes and then tie it to a func_detail.

That's a little less complicated than learning how to use some modelling software and how to skin the models...
