Loading problems

This isn't the normal loading problems as mentioned by other people..

Basically the game runs sweet as, and looks delish, but when I get to the canal section, (still early on in game) and have finished talking to 2 friends, I move outside and at the load point next to the fire.. it just wont load.. it comes up as any other load point but will just hang there and not do anything.. I let it go for ages and still nothing happened, whereas all the others have been fine, around 20-30 second wait times... I know of 1 other person who has this problem but wondered if any others did, and whether anybody could think of what to do to solve this...

I also deleted local game content, downloaded it again and still have the same problem at the exact same point..

I'm not sure what you're asking but it takes forever for mine to load. The beginning menu screen takes a good 60 seconds and most of the stages take that long too. Only a few times (less than 4 or so) have there been loading times of less than 30 seconds.

All other loading points are fine, taking around 20-30 seconds to load, and about 1 min for a new chapter etc.. its just that one area that would not load.

I eventually managed to pass this problem by changing the command in config "sv_unlockedchapters" to 4 which takes me to the air boat (i hope i didnt miss too much) but was all i could do. Only problem now, is that some wall textures are totally black, apart from when a torch is shined onto it, which it then appears normal.

I have Loading problems as well except my problem is that when it locks up it totally freezes my whole machine and i have to hard reboot.
