locked ! please help !

Hi guys,

I just install HL2 on wednesday and started to play.
It's a real great game !

in the stand alone mod (the official "non online" game) I'm locked in a decontamination room just after the run on hydro speeder.

I enter the room, the door locked after me, two cams are extracted from the wall, gaz is filling in the room, lasers are scanning, then the light turns to green but nothing happens
the two keypads at the doors keep telling me " ERROR " and i can't do anything else than blowing my self away using a H.E. grenade...

please help !

I know where he is, but I don't think he has a legal copy.

It's the bit where you go to Eli's lab...just after the airboat. The airlock. Where Dr Mossman is supposed to see you and let you in.

Try restarting that section, perhaps the NPC didn't trigger properly.

There is no "stand alone mod (the official "non online" game)" All legal versions of HL2 require steam and the internet.

Therefore, It seems you have a warez version; in which the AI and game mechanics are broken
