i dunno which 1 to get..... Which 1 is newer model? and which 1 is better?

I know this is not the answer to your question. But imo, i'd recommend the new saitek eclipse keyboards. They are v. nice indeed.

Wow no 1 is answering me?

It's a forum, relax, and give it time.

And I would reccomend that you type properly, and screw all the "omfg u sux 1 big 1" stuff.

Anyway, yeah, the Saitek Eclipse keyboards are awesome. I've got one, and i'm currently typing this in a pitch black room.

elite is obviously better, but its a keyboard for christ's sake- as long as you get one that isn't gonna give you occupational overuse syndrome surely there's barely any difference.

I have a logitech media keyboard and it's really nice - most comfortable keyboard I've tried so far, really quiet and its clear that logitech put a lot of thought into the layout etc. As for the elite - its more expensive so I'd assume it has more features etc but I prefer the clean/black look of the media keyboard over the silver look of the elite.

As for the saitech ppl mentioned - I tried one of those - seems better for gaming (coolness etc and better wasd config) but for typing it was less comfortable so it comes down to what you're planning on useing it for.

*edit* OMFG scratch that I was just at gamespot and saw logitech's new "gaming" series of keyboards/mouse (the G series) - it looks really pwn

it says that you posted at 12:20 am then posted again at 11:05....
... and now a lesson in how to understand time:

Remember, kids, 12:00-12:59AM is in the early morning and 12:00-12:59PM is in the early afternoon.

The media one is a tad bit smaller but I would really recommend the Elite. The controls are really nice.

I agree. It's layout is pretty good for gaming, since the keys are closer together (compared to what else i've used) and the spacebar is nice and big, but it's less comfortable typing on it than gaming on it.

As for that logitech keyboard, it looks to gimicky to me. I like how they have those extra buttons on the left though. So long as I don't need some bloated resource hogging driver to use all the features.

I had the wireless logitech elite running without software or drivers from the CD. Didn't use the internet, email buttons at all. Sound volume, mute, scroll etc are very handy.
