Logitech MX1000

I've just ordered this Logitech MX1000 - because some reviews say it's good ...

I'm just wondering if any of you have it, so I can get first-hand feedback of what this thing is like. Some people say it's like a brick to move around, is this true?

They said that (being brick like) about the MX700 too but many like it, like myself.

I don't know any one who has the MX1000 either. So I have not got any feedback. I hear the wireless connection is very fast and the precision on the mouse is very good, from reviews.

my friend has one and i tried it. just as its advertised... it has THE BEST tracking EVER.. incredibly precise. its actually is a bit heavy, but that's probably the only downside. i loved it.. but for some reason i can't get away from my mx500.. i just love it rofl..

I have the MX1000 and its the best mouse I've ever used. Best tracking ever (first laser mouse), nice and rechargeable (with the "stand" thats included ). The downside? There is no downside!

It is a bit heavier than your average chord-ed mouse, but you can compensate that weight by changing your surface to one where less friction is generated. Or just change the sensitivity

I'm thinking about changing my Intelli 3 with an MX1000 in the near future as well. The Intelli 3 is too light for my liking. I want something heavier to move around.

I seriously urge all of you to shell out a little bit extra, do away with that intellimouse optical and get one of these babies. you will not be disappointed!
