Topic: Redesign our Steam Community logo.
Unfortunately, Munro can't draw. So we're exploiting our community to do the work for us! AHEM, I mean we're giving our community the rare opportunity to be a part of something profound and significant! All you have to do is design a logo for our Steam Community page.

Hmm, if we added more to the HL2.net Doodle image, I could see that being a deserving entry. And we'd all get credit for the work.

Here's my idea:

It'll mess with their heads so much, they'll have no choice but to join the group.

Uh, there's no way. You wouldn't be able to tell what anything is, really. Well, maybe some things. But the fact is, it'll just look like a mess.

Especially since it's so out of context. Unless we stupidly explained on the right what the image was, which most people wouldn't even bother reading, they'd just think "what the hell is this mess of tiny doodles... "

That was a rash decision considering public vote won over private judging, even if it only was by one.

I might fiddle with some things while wondering around some art...I'm not promising anything good, if anything at all actually...but hopefully I can at least give it a shot.

I have a few versions of basically the same logo done. It's so hard to chose which one is best!

Edit: There are people entering more than one logo. Are they going to be disqualified or what?

Oh crud, I completely forgot to end the competition Ever since Halo 3 came out I haven't actually visited HL2.net at all (except to post in the Halo 3 thread), haha.

Well technically the contest deadline is past..

I'm just wondering whats going on with the judging.

I figure it's all the latest steam releases keeping the admins / judges pre-occupied / busy..

But either way, would like to hear something about this.
