Topic: Redesign our Steam Community logo.
Unfortunately, Munro can't draw. So we're exploiting our community to do the work for us! AHEM, I mean we're giving our community the rare opportunity to be a part of something profound and significant! All you have to do is design a logo for our Steam Community page.

Size:Entries must be 184x184 pixels, to fit on the Steam Community website. If this is not possible, just make sure it's square and we can resize it.

Closing date: This thread will be closed on Wednesday the 26th of September at 12am GMT. The contest is therefore open for a week.

Winning entry: The winning entry will be used as our Steam Community logo, with credit given.

Voting: The contest will not be decided by a public vote. It will be judged by moderators.

Rules:

• All work must be your own.
• Entries which are not relevant to the above topic will be disqualified.
• You may use any form of art; pencils, pastels, paint, photography, digital art... you name it.
• Must be 184x184 pixels.
• Post your finished entry in this thread, preferably by attaching it rather than hosting it on an image hosting site.
• The winner will be decided by Judges.
• Entries must be of a certain quality; scribbles or paint doodles will not be accepted.
• NO GARRY'S MOD SCREENS.

Note: The winner may be asked to provide proof that the work is actually theirs. Therefore, be sure to keep the originals of anything you do, or the layers if you are painting in photoshop. If you are using photographs, take one shot of yourself or your hand in the scene.

And if I have to specify which one I wanted to enter, it'd be HL2net2s.jpg. One or the other... They only difference is the HL2.net vs HalfLife2.net thing. I figured that since the domain, 'HL2.NET' was not owned, that I should probably make one with the full text.

I'm not very impressed with the others TBH. Hopefully we'll see some more before Wednesday.

On to my own entry: I had a few different versions of this (2 different fonts + a few different background colours). With the help of Pitzy I settled on this one. The font is OCR A Extended and the image is taken from this site's concept art section and edited in Adobe Photoshop CS2.
