Ikerous has no immediate family, all passed away due to a rare illness usually carried in a dormant state in animal blood, and Idonno was on a spiritual pilgrimmage that was meant to last twenty years (she started at age 15) but she met ikerous and soon fell away from the beliefs that originally led to her commencing the pilgrimmage, but she will remain in hiding for the next 15 years in order to avoid losing her family's honor. She will of course be living a lie, but that's something I think she'll be able to deal with quite well.

Ikerous is a famed animal wrangler, and Idonno is originally from Scandinavia.
