Why bother calling it episodic if they're going to take forever to release each installment?

That's not my point (do a search there are plenty of threads talking about how the Episodes have failed to be released quickly).

My point was given how long the other Episodes have taken nobody should be surprised that Ep3 is taking a simular amount of time to get done.

Lombardi: Yeah, the next time you play as Gordon will be longer than the distance between HL2 to Ep1, and Ep1 to Ep2.

By that, I think that Lombardi meant that it's going to take longer to release then it took to release EP1 / 2.

EDIT: My guess is that it gets released in either June or July.

I reckon Valve paid 3D Realms just to keep the DNF myth alive (face it. it's never going to happen) so that the HL2 Episodic release schedule looked regular
