Actually it's not new but I just had it hard chromed!!! It's a Sig Sauer P220ST (.45 acp). I sent it to accurate plating and weaponry and had all the lettering removed and then they chrome plated it after polishing the steel to a brushed finish. I then custom fit some older P220 plastic checkered grips with a little dremel work (newer P220's have a slightly different frame than the older ones). Just wanted to show it off. I love Sig Sauers!!

j/k, I don't know much about weaponry, but that looks like a pretty powerful gun. Are you a collector?

Yea it's my main hobby. A .45 is fairly powerful when speaking of semi-auto pistols, but it's no hand cannon by any means. My .44 magnum makes it feel like a pea shooter in comparison.
 
Take a pic of you holding it! Then a pic of you holding a round. I dont think a lot of people know what a .45cal looks like.
 
Guns scare the shit out of me. I had a friend when I was young accidently shoot his sister in the face. She survived but still...

That does look kinda pretty though.

Very horrible mishap. Sorry to hear about it. Guns however are inanimate objects. They don't cause crimes or accidents themselves. They are merely tools and if not respected are very deadly. I myself bought a 500lb gun safe to prevent them from ending up on the street or in some curious child's hands.

I'll try to later. My wife is asleep right now so I don't have anyone to take a pic of me. I can probably get a pic of a round up soon though.

Very nice! My friend's stupid dad just had it lying around in a drawer. It sounds like you are very responsible. And it is a damn pretty gun even though I know nothing about guns.

Have you shot it yet?

Until I read that I wasn't as excited about the gun, but now, congratulations, it's nice.
