Valve are mothering HL2 right now, its their child, and their feeding it with tweaks here and there, who knows, Valve may even have time to react to the dissapointment of no HL2 themed multiplayer, and could deliver it with the final gold RC. (,would the magazines of played an unfinished non gold RC?)
