Call me picky, but when I'm reading an article on a website (other than a forum post, but that's a whole other story), I like it to sound educated - for example, not be overrun with grammatical errors and internet shorthand. Otherwise, it just sounds like some idiot mouthing off in a forum. Looks like this idiot got himself his own website. I'm sick of reading all this crap written by people who seem to think that Valve owes something to them. I'm not going to go on about my views about this whole situation, because everything's been said already... but the guys at "SmoothGames", all sound like complete morons.

I played through the test chamber and didn't realize anything someone else hasn't done here. However, i found an interesting piece of dialog.

Scientist 1 - "What is he doing in there?"
Scientist 2 - "Nothing you should need to worry about, Gordon."

If you think about it, it sounds weird. "In there" is probably the test chamber.
If they meant Gordon, Scientist 2 would probably not have told him not to worry, right?

If i'm correct, someone else was in the test chamber. And since i only know of one person that has the ability to turn invisible to some - the G-Man was inside the test chamber. And the scientist recognized him.

Call me stupid if you want. :E

No the president did not fail to do his job, becuase the bush administration WAS BEHIND the 911 attacks.

Look at the pentagon for instance, there is NO camera footage of a plane hitting it, and on the secrutiy camera, the frames of when the plane supposedly crashed have been removed, but we can still see there is no evidence of a plane.

Ask any experienced pilot at the speeds a plane travels at hitting the pentagon would be almost impossible, hell, try it on microsoft flight sim, and you will see.

A comparrison could be made between 911, and the reichstag, in nazi germany the nazis Burnt down the reichzstag (their parlement) and blamed it on communists. They used people fear of communists(just as we are told to fear terrorists) and used it to pass bills which heavilly cut down on peoples rights (just as the patriot act has).

Did you no there was a terrorism training excersise on 9-11? Norad was ordered to stand down when the planes flew by, becuase everyone thought (well so they say) it was drill.

And on the video footage we can see what appear to be explosions going off just before the plan hits the tower. The building was desighned to withstand an aitcrat attack, so why didnt it, becuase IMO there were charges set to detonate.

If anyone knows anyone in the demolition buissness ask them about how the toweres flew down into themselves, much like what happeneds when a contracter would imploded a building using charges set inside.

Hey everyone, i latched onto the gaming scene a bit late to play Halflife, now i am eagerly anticipating HL2, i am slightly bemused by the storyline, and the rolls of everyone.

I understand the portal breaking and the aliens from 'Xeon' or sumthin being on earth? And Gordon basically kills them, and tries to save himself from the human enemies also. But what happens after you kill the 'big mother alien' thingy? Where's the story been left off, and is Gman a good guy or bad?

Im quite confused and wondered if anyone here could fill me in where Halflife 1 finishes off, and where Halflife2 intends to pick up (if you know ) I'd appreciate it greatly if you could help me out, thanks in advance!
