Looking for a new graphics card...

And I want to know what is the best I can get with that motherboard and a 450w power supply
my other specs are:

Athlon XP +2600
1 gig of DDR
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB

well, I would rather just get a graphics card if possible...that's kinda why I posted my specs and stuff

Have you overclocked your cpu ? If not then it might create a reasonable bottleneck on the graphics card. Overclocking would relieve some of the bottleneck, more the higher you go.

I would recommend the 6800GS, or the X800GTO, or if you want to spend a little more, the 7800GS.

Wait till the end of the year for DX10 graphic cards.

Which most likely won't be on agp, so wouldn't be any use to him unless he upgraded the whole lot. Although that may be a wise move. Stick with the 9800Pro until the end of the year and then give the system an overhaul.
