Looking for a team!

Hey everyone, i am starting a mod, ive got most of the resouces together, registered a domain, just in need of a team to get this started. I am looking for experieced modders, i'd ask you send me a few (half dozen) things as examples of your work. I am not going to reveal the mod topic in this forum, but people who do inquire, i will share the mod ideas with you. Also i think we are gonna need a really good coder. I look forward to hearing from some people

At the moment i am in most need of a Webdesigner/Webmaster.

It's not dumb to advertise first, nothing wrong with doing that. But a site needs content, and to get interest in threads like this on here, build up a team, create some content _then_ make a site and you'll have plenty of pretty things to put on it.

There's nothing worse though than a site with a lot of "coming soon" or similar pages.

Ok you mentioned before you thought it was an AvP mod. Well like i said before it isin't, but it is a Predator mod. It is a mod based around the Predator, and humans. Ive developed a notepad FULL of ideas regarding the mod, The mod has some aspects that would be really challenging to incorporate, but all in all would be extremely benificial to the total outcome. But like i said i laid out basic rules and have sketched out maps, and developed 3 different game modes, and have spent hours and hours gathering resources regarding the predator and how they hunt, their tech. and so called "hunt rules" i dont wanna post the ideas due to the fact that yes, its possible someone could take them for their own. but i have GREAT confidince in this mod and its potential, so i look forward to hearing from some people. That includes anyone who would be gracious enough to set us up a webserver for the mod and such.

Actually since his mod is using the property of someone else, in this case Fox. He can't copyright any of it, or sue anyone for using it, or have any claim over it whatsoever.

Because they will be making money from a AVP game. If you make a free one, it will cut down thier profits.

If your ideas really are that good, then the Preditor references will not be nessesery. Just make it based around original ideas.

Trouble is there is already one predator game coming out this year... you cant possibly compete. look what happened to all of the bf 1942 vietnam mods.

think original, you are then no longer restricted to the licence.

intergalactic bounty hunter is a good premise for a sp game, you could have varying values for specific body parts on a range of weird animals and sell bits for new weapons/abilities.

just a thought.

Not a bad idea that, atleast there wouldnt be copyright issue's if its a mod on AvP2.. save a lot of extra work too heh.
