I was looking at newegg and tigerdirect for some 80mm case fans though i have not much more money left. I guess i have about $20. Im looking to buy 3 case fans (2 back, 1 front) or ill just get 2 back and a front one later.

Any suggestions? Ones i have liked - Vantec Stealth 80mm

Any special things to look out for? 3pin 4 pin? ball bearing?

well heres what i can tell you 4 pin goes into the power supply and 3 goes in the mobo... most come with a 4 pin adapter uh... as far as fans go on pricewatch.com they are like $3-$6 with lights on them so i bet the be really cheap without... go there uh i link you ok i found this. this will work well for you http://www.mrtechus.com/fancooler.html

good luck with your new fans if u have anyorther ques post them ill check back here in a hour.

Anyone want to comment on good brands? Only good brand i know for cooling is vantec.

that seems expensive.....

oops ..i thought that was for 1.

the 8th fan down on this page...damn link wont work

are what i use.

i know, but i mean those fan inparticular. They have Vantec stealth fans and other low noise fans and i didnt know if they would be a better buy.

well i have one of those off that page really.. it isent bad i my light up ones are way worse

I saw a deal (on newegg) 10 blue led case fanse for $40 with no s&h, I read all the reviews and people said they were great for the case, bad for a heatsink though.

Pick up some Blue LED coolermaster case fans. Im gonna get a few for my new setups, i hear they are great.

Those look pretty nice. I think i might get 1 or 2 of them and the rest just regualr.

Some case fans tend to make a electrical humming noise when you down the voltage.. But if your not planing on doing that you should just check out the specs for every case fan you are considering. Combining dbA and CFM specs.. You don't want it to be too loud, neither do you want it to push too little air.

Enermax make among the best case fans I've seen, but they are expensive. Zalman make excellent case fans and they are low in price too :).

Ridic your getting the Xaser III case right?

hahaha. i saw these case fans earlier today that said they pused 110CFM. i was amazed until i read the '60dB' part. hahaha.

I've just finished reading about 20-odd reviews on the Xaser III, they all said the fans were excellent. Don't waste your money on pointless fans if these do the job ridic.
