Looking for good ps2 game!

Ok, the situation is this, i just finished resident evil 4(AWESOME GAME) and I was wondering which game i should buy next.(although it might take some time before i buy another one, since I still want to play through re4 some more times)
But anyway, i was thinking of some games:

God of war
shadow of the colosus
killzone
kingdom hearts 1 and 2
burnout revenge

or should I wait and get black or 24:the game?(I am gonna wait for reviews)

Out of that list definitely Shadow of the Colossus. I just got it and I am very impressed. God of War is also a damn good game. Killzone has some really nice graphics and the gameplay is alright, but overall it's not too amazing compared to the other two. Burnout Revenge is a crappier version of Takedown IMO. I'm not an RPG fan so I can't tell you about Kingdom Hearts.

Either God of War or Shadow of the Colossus from that list. Flip a coin now because they are both great, but you will definitely want to get them both in the future.

Also, if you like RPGs, there's no better than Dragon Quest 8. Its one of the most addicitve and engaging and beautiful RPGs in a long time for me.

Now for some more good games, I do not think you'd like em as much as the above list, but they are worth mentioning:

Mercenaries
We love katamari( it's actually incredibly fun,not just a gimmick. It's a full fledged wonderfull game)
Killer 7
King Kong( wonderful game, much better then I expected. It uses a minimalistic aproach to the controls and hud, but delivers some of the most exiting experiences ever.)
Ape Escape 3, wonder game, this game has an incredible amount of variety and content. You're mouth wil drop when you see how much extra's this game has.

Oh yeah, and if you want a shooter, better skip killzone and buy Black.

If you like fighting games, then you can't miss Tekken 5 or soul calibur 3.

SSX tricky is also very cool.
Kingdom hearts
Kingdom hearts 2( you also allready know about this, but still I had to mention them.)

As far as platforms go, take a good look at the Jak & dexter games.
Ratchet and clank are also very very fun.

Just go to www.gamespot.com and look at the video reviews and go to gamerankings, see which game suits you the most.

God of War or Metal Gear Sold 3: Snake Eater. I'm currently playing MGS3, I love Hideo Kojima. I'm up to the part where I'm planting the C4 (I won't go into detail for spoiler reasons).

get mgs3 if you havent yet, i presume you have since your av is of mgs1 so you must be a fan, i have god of war and its awesome, probably the best looking ps2 game i own, i'm getting shadow of the colossus this week myself, looks brill, the others i dunno much about...

I would say God of War. SoC is great too, but even going slowly you probably wont get more than 9 hours, and God of War is more fun, will last longer, and less frustrating.

Kingdom Hearts is a great game (this one's coming in the mail again )
Devil May Cry 1 & 3

I love the Ratchet & Clank games (haven't played Deadlocked yet). The first was fun. The second was even better with RPG elements (weapon upgrading and hp upgrading) and the third even managed to top the 2nd in terms of upgrading and extras. One thing I really liked is the fact that you can go through the game again with your current gear and everything is much harder with more weapons to buy and more upgrades to get. It's the best game I've seen around in terms of multiple playthroughs. God of War disappointed me in this category because you didn't keep your equipment for the hardest mode, everything just had 4x the hp and hit 4x as hard. Kinda boring. In R&C games there's arenas you can goto for some extra bolts ($$$) and other side missions you can do as well. I DEFINITELY recommend these games.

24 and BLACK look great but I'm gonna rent them because I dunno how long they'll last me.

If you're into RPGs, take a look at the Xenosaga games. They're currently my favorite RPGs <3. Ever waiting for Episode III to show its face.

God of War is, in my own opinion, incredibly overrated. The game's fun for the first half-hour, but it just seems like endless repetition. The plot's pretty cool, which is about the only thing that kept me going, but I wouldn't say its a buy.

Yeah, you are right, I am a Metal Gear fan.

Something i forgot to mention is that my ps2 collection so far is:

MGS 3
RE 4

and I have finished both of them.(They were almost the reason I got a ps2 in the first place.)

Anyway, I am thinking about this, first I will buy god of war and safe shadow of the colosus till later.(Not because it is worse then GOW, but I just kinda like to save the slower and more beautiful game till a little later. And GOW is cheaper then SOTC at the moment.)

To the games I buy after that, well I just have to wait and see!
