I checked around and searched a bit and couldn;t find any AMD mobos with DDR2 on them, are there any? Cause I'd like to switch over to an AMD machine from my Intel machine, but I don;t want to have to sell my DDR2 memory since it was quite costly... any help?

Ok, the search function isn;t working for me for some reason, sorry if this has been brough up before.

edit: also, anyone know anything about these headphones?http://www.pricegrabber.com/p__LTB_Audio_Systems_USB_True_5_1_Surround_Sound_Headphone_w_Mic,__6732829

I don't know about those, but I got these headphones and they are very nice. At first I was iffy about 5.1 headphones but they are really great. Only bad thing is that the ones I got have weak bass. And these are cheaper than the one you listed.

ah, thanks, but i really want ones with a mic, though i think i've found another pair, and even though they're only stereo all that should be fine when i get the new X-Fi card, but still, thank you for another option

You are going to need to wait until 2006 and the M2 socket if you want to stick DDR2 RAM in an AMD-based motherboard.

Hey, just wanted to say on the headphone front, sennheiser have just bought out a new set with surround and mic etc.... and i have found sennheiser to be of the highest quality and they provide great sound.

They are called PC160 i think, not sure about US price, but i have the PC130's, which are lower spec, and they sound brilliant, so might be worth giving these a look:

See if i can find a link on a US site..........
