Hi folks,

I'm looking for people who want to display their custom Half-Life 2 wallpapers proudly on Halflife2.net. I'm sure you've noticed it's bare at the moment and wouldn't you like to change that?

If you have a good wallpaper you've created and it's 1024x768 pixels in size or above then please - attach it here, link to it or mail it to me at [email protected].

this has nothing to do about wallpapers, but i think the contest winers shoudl go in a HL2.net gallery, not just in the art forum. it would let people have a good look at the art contest without scrolling through the half-completed "hall of champions" thread, especially if they dont post here.

its just a suggestion, i would actually feel so prod to have my two (yes, two!) winning entries in a proper, official looking neat gallery, with thumnails that you click :D
 
Your right, that has nothing to do with wallpapers, you could have PM'd him that request :p

Anyway i think some of the contest stuff is/going to be put on the site. Not entirely sure about that though. Like I say, PM Munro about it.

Here's a clue. If you want people to invest their time* in making wallpapers for the site, try responding when they email them to you/PM you on IRC :dozey:

I just finished this wallpaper. It's the best I can do with the image I had to start with. If I can get my hands on a higher res image of this shot I will start over and do the same thing. This image was a HL2 steam adverstisement posted on the net. It's the best DOG picture I can find right now, and I really wanted a DOG themed wallpaper. If you think I could improve upon it please PM me....

I had to lower the quality of the image from 400kb to 100kb to upload it.
