I gotta say, I am really looking forward to playing HL2. I couldn't get enough of HL1 and it's expansions. I remember my first encounter with the enemy marine AI and how much fun it was to play different scenerios over and over to see what different actions they would take each time.
I'm not much of a complainer, I have to tell ya. I'm a little dismayed at the amount of trolls and whiners on this board, but I guess I shouldn't be so surprised that it isn't any different than any other game forum.
However, I feel some of you need to know this. For all the little punks that say they won't buy the game, quit kidding yourself. I know you're gonna buy it, everyone else knows you're gonna buy it...and most of all, you know you're gonna buy it. Ohhh, you may not buy it on the first day, but within a few weeks, it will be installed on your computer just like the rest of us.
Why is this? Cause even with the delays we all know that the Half-Life team has produced one of the finest games any of us has ever played. The AI in it was awesome, the premise was cool, and the gameplay was tight. Every first person shooter after Half-Life was compared to Half-Life and very few have had quite the impact of Half-Life. It's a hell of a game and I feel strongly that HL2 will be just as enjoyable.
So, again, I gotta say, I really look forward to Half-Life 2, the single player, multiplayer, the mods and the future.
