Looks a little like hl2

Thats some pretty sweet art-work...

Very city 17 though :cheese:

damn thats nicely done. Now thats my kind of concept work, very nice.

Awesome, thumbs up to the person who drew it.

Wow, I agree. Looks semi-City 7, but DAMN... that's one gorgeous piece of artwork.

I haven't updated my DA account with any new art pieces in a while, but if any of you get bored, mines http://excelr8.deviantart.com :D

Wonderful days? I saw the movie but dont remember those guys being in it. The city kind of looks like the one in the movie.

He drew that likely with a wacom tablet am I right?

Very nice peice of art, I would buy a print if he put it up.

Hey NSPIRE, your from Modesto too? What school do you go to?

Ah, yeah bro. I live in good ol' Modesto. Home of Laci Peterson and Chandra Levy... err, used to be at least, y'know?

I go to Central High, actually. No, I'm not one of those f*ckin' Abercrombie / AE / Aeropostale wearin' preps like everyone thinks... but 98% of the people that go here are.

I've attatched a pic of me :p

What shcool do you go to Top Secret? Lemme guess... Modesto High, or Davis? :)

it's meet and greet over at the HL2 boards :)

NSPIRE, nice hair.

You talking abot NSPIRE's pic, or the art?

That's concept art for a HL2 mod the guy is working on.

Going to move this one to the Art section, nobody's done anything wrong :) I just think it'll be better in there with the other semi-HL art.

Not only that but I think that guys work serves as a great yard stick for others doing concept work to aim at that kind of quality, its also very inspiring and looks great.

Ringu, Fenric? :)

I watched The Ring 2 the other night.. really weird movie, but I enjoyed both, I wanna see Ring 3 Birthday, or whatever, but I can't find it

Ring, its called Ring *huffs and puffs angrily* lol :p

Do you mean lemonheart? That was part of The Birthday (it was one of the short stories) and was made into Ring 0 that told the the events leading upto Ring. Course if there's some anime version of it like there are comics then I wouldn't know, still not a fan of that stuff and never will be ;)

If you like the supernatural side of things, just try stick to Ring, Ring 2 and Ring 0 (in that order) Rasen and the others are based more on the scientific side of things, not really my kind of thing. Though I can't vouch on the series but I think thats more Rasen than Ring.

Anyway Ring 0 is worth watching, apart from being a good film, for one really good reason

;);)

Ring, Ringu, same difference, I was just going by the filename in which I originally found it :)

Yeah, Ring 0, that's what I meant, I have yet to find it, though. I really like the series, although it doesn't scare me like it did before, still fun to watch :)

Lol, my hair's not that crazy... just a little bit different :)

Is the movie "Wonderfull days" any good?

I'm asking because I recently saw Akira again, and it was so much better now on DVD than when I saw it 7 years ago on a busted VHS. Also, I did catch a lot more metaphores and allusions than I did when I was younger. I'd really like to see a few real good manga movies. I already saw Ghost in the Shell, wich was pretty cool too. And fist of the northstar, man what a "blast". I need maybe something like a tokyo triade Yakuza manga? Or something with lots of technology? But I don't like those with a deamonstory, and also, nothing hantai(?) style since I'm not into cartoonsex thank you very much. Anyone knows good manga's?

Also: cool pic, really looks HL2ish

Akira (the newer DVD version that was remade) is soooo much more f*ckin' awesome than the old, un-remade one... err, original. That was the word I was lookin' for.
