In lost, there is an epidose with sayid where he goes to see his terrorist friends, some of them are playing Half Life 2 on the xbox, one of them says :

-Damn it, I'm out of ammo.
- Use the crowbar.
-That only works on the zombies, not the big bugs.
-Indeed
.

I've heard that quote before, who the hell says that, I'm sure its popular.

....wait what? Lost referenced HL2? I haven't seen the show so what "terrorist friends" are you talking about? I thought it was about people on an island.

Yeah, WTF about terrorist friends?

I wikipedia searched it... no reference to terrorist.

WTF.

Lost is a show where people are trapped on mysterious island and they keep having flash backs to before they were on the island. Usually they had some really ****ed up issues in there life.

Lost has flashbacks in each episode.

And they are playing Half-Life: Decay on the PS2, not HL2 on the Xbox.

The dialogue goes like this:
Yusef: Damn it. I'm out of ammo.
Haddad: Use the crowbar.
Yusef: That only works on the zombies. Not the big bugs.
Haddad: Indeed.
More information about it:
Half-Life: When Essam brings Sayid to his apartment, Haddad and Yusef are playing Half-Life on the TV. Half-Life is a first-person shooter developed by Valve Software and released in 1998. The two are playing a port of Half-Life for the PlayStation2 by Gearbox Software that was released in 2001. Half-Life is set in a remote area of New Mexico at the Black Mesa Research Facility where an experiment accidentally creates a dimensional rift that allow aliens from another world, the Xen, to invade the damaged facility. You play as Gordon Freeman, a theoretical physicist, who must battle his way through the Xen and the Hazardous Environment Combat Unit, escape from the ruined facility, and seal the dimensional rift to stop the Xen.

Ah, right, the flashbacks. I really gotta borrow season 1 from my uncle.

Yeah, I was jumping up and down when I saw that. *ahem*

I think the producers must be fans of the game, I mean, what about the sightings of Jack's father on the island? Definently Half-Life rip.

I was about to say, Jack's G-man-esque father is a far more significant Half-Life reference. :p

And the monster/defence mechanism makes a sound just like a strider.
