great deal if you haven't played this yet! I played it on the 360 but never finished it and it probably can use the 360 controller on your PC

Played the demo and it seemed to have some pretty atrocious gameplay.

i thought it was fun at the time, but $5 ain't bad even for mediocre

It's average on console, maybe a bit above average, I think $5 is a fair price. I'd go as high as $10 for this game.

I couldn't stand watching my friend play this for ten minutes let alone playing it myself. I admittedly don't like 3PS games though. When I came in to this thread I thought Lost Planet was something else entirely. Truly a forgettable experience I guess.

I thought it was decent when I played through it back when it first came out on the PC. From what I can remember, It's about 10 hours long, with some pretty epic moments. I would say it's worth the $5 if you haven't played it yet, just be prepared to get used to some rather annoying controls unless you have a 360 controller handy.

I doubt this game will even make it to the top sellers this weekend.

If anything this had made me tempted to get the copy I seen for 50 pence.

Eh, tried the demo, runs like ass. Not like this computer is anything special, but if I could run Far Cry 2...

Runs at like 20 FPS. Even for $5 I couldn't spend my money on that...

Yea no kidding, hell you could get civ 3 for 5 bucks, it would be a hell of alot better.

So apparently the demo is basically a beta version and the retail runs a bit better. No guarantees, but people elsewhere have reported getting ~20fps in the demo and going up to 30-40+ in the full game.

Does the retail have the xbox commands set up? Anyways that was pretty retarded of them to put out a demo that runs so shitty.

Xbox commands? You mean controls? It should support a controller just fine.

Yeah but why have XBox prompts when it's played on the PC? How many people do you see play their PC games with 360 controllers?
