Lost -- UK/Ireland Thread

Just finished watching the 2nd episode of the second series of Lost and I decided to create another thread on it.
Spoilers should be labled for series spoilage. Only Series 1 and 2 up to the point where Irish telly is currently at.
American's and Norwegens or whoever is further on can make their own, like the 24 threads.

Season 1:
Now, crazy theory time:
The Island bends Walt's mind. He is reading a comic with a polar bear, suddenly there's a polar bear in the jungle, and not even a trace of one from then on.

Season 2, episode 2:
The Others are infected with the disease that Desmond is on about, which is why the world was quaranteened. The disease makes them primitave, like in 28 Days Later but a bit less.
The guys who took Walt are not the Others. They do are intellegent and have guns unlike the Others who we glimps at the end of the episode who have home-made clubs.
So whoever took Walt is from another group :O

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm a little rusty on the end of episode 2, but is it where you only see their feet walk past? Sorry if you haven't seen that part, but like I said, I can't remember it much, and theres alot I'd like to discuss on it as I've seen to episode 5 of Season 2. My freind torrents them and lends me his portable HDD every now and again, see. I got too tempted by all the talk of Season 2 so he put 5 episodes on for me which I wanted in glee. Great stuff.

Have you seen the first draft script of what happens in the hatch? Its related to the whole quaratine thing, I think, as it involves sick 'things' or 'zombies' as its scribbled down in the script. I don't know how well known it is now, but my freind showed it me a while back on the Lost website after putting the code into a text box at the bottom of the page. My 2 mates are mad on the code and noting down everywhere it pops up.

Those aren't the others, they're survivors from the other part of the plane. :O

Ah, yes, thats the one. That episode was Sawyer and Mike on the left over raft wasn't it? I remember it now. But as Jangle said...

(I could really do with a spoiler tag here, but scroll down to see as its a SPOILER.)










They were a different set of 'Others', or more commonly just 'the other survivors'. However, later in the series, possibly about episode 4 you will see another set of 'Others', which are completly different to those on the beach (aka, the tail-end survivors) and are completly different to the ones that take Walt. Which leaves it open to that there could be loads more different groups of people, or 'Other' people, on the island. Its hard to explain accuratly as I don't want to spoil anything.

It returns here in Spring. Until then, Desperate Housewives is running. Luckily, Invasion and Prison Break is there to fill the gap until Spring. Would of been pretty dire if all that was on whats that Desperate Housewives pish.

I'm not because my friends extreme uncle downloads all of them pretty much as soon as they come out.
