Lump in my chest

For the past couple weeks I have felt a lump in my chest, right in the middle.

Feels like it's in my esophagus, and it's extremely uncomfortable. I only feel it in the morning. This morning it was bordering on painful. No clue what it is.

It only started 2 or 3 weeks ago, and has been steadily getting worse.

Any suggestions? I'm thinking about seeing a doctor.

Just went there, went to symptom checker, clicked "chest", clicked "chest pain" and it was pretty much all for heart attacks and crap.

Danged if I'm having a 2 week long heart attack as a 16 year old.
I'm going to wait a bit longer to see if it goes away. Odd that I usually only feel it in the morning, usually it goes away in the afternoon and I don't feel it again until the next day.

(I hate doctors btw, their offices make me nervous )

They do. I once had this real noob doctor give me an injection into the hand but she forgot to put the stuff into the needle and had to do it again. It was painful because the injection had to straight into the nerve. Anasthetic stuff i don't understand.
