LYK OMG I just noticed this =O

Think about it. Besides Ravenholm I think the tunnels of Foxtrot Uniform from a gameplay/design concept are the most similar to Lowlife. You're in a dark underground enviroment pinned against a large hoard of a new intimidating enemies (okay, maybe I'm reaching a bit on the zombine/voltigore comparison) and have to close an infinite NPC spawnpoint. It's personally probably one of my favorite parts to Opposing Force.

Either way I loved Opposing Force, new weapons, new enemies (okay, bosses kind of suck), good action, and good length. Where as Blue Shift kinda sucked in the new-stuff/length/difficulty department

B-b-b-but the gameplay in Foxtrot Uniform tunnels simply can't be compared to Lowlife! That's madness! :p

I know, I know, I just think that it's interesting that Foxtrot Uniform and Lowlife have some core design ideas in common. All in all I was just making a point avout why I think that Opposing Force was much better than Blue Shift.

Madness?! This is Sparta!!

As I have never played Ep1 sp far I cant comment on Low life, but the Sniper Rifle and the Displacer saved my ass in Foxtrot Uniform. If not because of the displacer I would have never been able to deal with the Voltigores, maybe thats just because I suck.

the m249 i think? the big machine gun that makes you move back when you fire it, yet all the grunts who use one seem to have it under control
