M.F.S.R Movement For Shephard's Return

Why NO ONE that visits VALVE questions if Shephard will make a comeback in the game or some expansion, or if he will be forgotten forever? Maybe it's because none of the visitors are hardcore fans of HL2 story (like me).

I think it would be easy for VALVE answer that, since I don't think it'll spoile anything, after all they don't have to say WHAT he (Shephard) will do or not.
(My darkest fears say that they could be considering to "erase" Shephard from Half-Life Universe, I hope they won't even think about it)

Also Let's make a Movement for the distribution of "Half-Life: Decay" and "Half-Life: Blue-Shift" through steam! I think we deserve them! Specially "Decay" which contains substantial information on Half-Life and I won't buy a PS2 just to play that. (yeah, some people may say "go play at your friends house" or something, but that's not the point)

Also, an official CO-OP episode would be awesome to play over LAN or Internet.

Hope you guys support at least one of the "Movements", let's do some pressure!
 
Great idea, I am also a hardcore HL universe story fan. I think if Shephard comes back, he will probably be a boss or something. (Speculation) Shephard escapes the G-Man/G-Man releases him to kill Freeman because he may have betrayed the G-Man. Ah that would be 1 hell of a fight with the new AI. Or maybe, Shephard comes back, and teams up with Freeman and the resistance. Sound good?
 
I hear ya. Shepard is just as cool as Gordon, and it would be nice to see him in HL2. As you, I wish there were someone who're going to ask Valve about it.
 
Ah yes, pairin up the two heroes of the HL legacy: Gordon adn Shepard. That would be awesome becuase they are both good guys, shepard never killed any scientists and really didnt know what was going on BM. He is was just a pawn used by the G-Man, just like Gordan. I like the idea of both of them meeting up and realising that they were both used and manipulatesd, and now it is time to kick some G-man (combine & Xen alien) ASSSS!!! :sniper: :sniper: :afro:
 
I vaguely remember someone at Valve saying Shephard won't be in HL2, as well as the Race-X enemies from Opposing Force. I could be wrong though.
 
That would make sense, since RACE-X was some sort of "accident" in the whole BM incident. But that doesn't means that Shephard won't be playing some role outside of City 17. After all, he's "protected" by the G-Man, suggesting that at least SOMETHING he must doing.

But I'm starting to believe that we won't see him until Half-Life 3...

Race X wasn't really an accident. From what I gathered, they got wind of Xen's invasion and saw it as an opportunity to pillage, plunder, and rape female scientists.

Being serious though, I do think that RACE-X were the precursors of the Combine invasion, somehow after XEN "merging" stopped, all hell that we see in HL2 started after that.
 
Shephard should be back... IMHO I think OpFor was better than HL1. :)
 
Shephard would be great in a HL-2 mod, I'm not sure what role he'd play though.

Rather than just a mod, I wanted it to be Official! (Maybe an official MOD :-P)

I'm all for it but I think it's a bit too soon to ask for an expansion pack ;)

u mean an official expansion for HL2 by Valve :)
yeah its kinda sad that Adrian doesn't get much attention around here.. granted its Opposing Force and here we mainly talk about HL but i always think of Opposing Force and Blueshift as part of that HL universe.

i really hope Valve continues with Adrian in the HL universe (hey Valve u reading this thread? :p ) as it would really make things interesting whether Adrian turns out be a villain or hero.. i think pple would be just happy to see him :dork:

edit: i hope the reason why Valve have been quiet about Adrian is because he is one of those surprises they wanted to keep :)

I don't think he did it, because the Resistance seems to be more connected to the remaining scientists of Black Mesa. Anyway, I still think that Shephard is due to return as a playable hero, somewhere around the globe, or even the universe. Who knows what plans G-Man is keeping for him.
 
Adrian.S should definately make a comeback.

mabye g-man found a use for him in training combines ,hehheh

I dunno if he'll show up, but it would make a neat easter egg, kinda ilke in Op For and Blue shift when you hear gaurds talking about where Gordan is at the same moment you are someplace else, like the beginning of blue shift.
 
sheperd will be introduced as a side a character with his own agenda during hl2 and your goal might be to aid or stop him.. or at the end gman goes something like.. well cleverly done mr. freeman.. but i feel you will need a hand in your next missions... end..


5 more years to a new story.
 
Shephard cant just be forgotten about, that would create a flaw in the Half-life universe, wich is almost perfect.....so i expect he will make a return, maybe not in hl2, but maybe a mod or hl3?
 
shepard rulz... i want him in hl2, but i fear that he will not be in it... :(
 
maybe gordan does die, and you get shepard in hl3, replacing him : (

Shepard was only the man because you were the man, he only rocked because you did playing the game. And he had cooler gloves than Gordon :)
 
don't mind shepherd being in it, i just don't want stupid race-x enemies in the game.
