Have you gotten a license to use Warhammer 40K?

If not expect a Cease and Decist order.

Theres already a retail Warhammer 40K game comming out soon, and I'm guessing Games Workshop wont want that to have any competition.

However, if you want ot risk waisting your time and effort by not getting a license, go ahead.

I did persue a license from Games Workshop about a month ago. And you are right.... They will not license out any new PC games because they currently have a relationship with THQ in that area. As long as this mod is non-commercial and I don't make them look bad, they most likely wont close the project down. Firewarrior is single player game anyway. This mod is unofficial, unfunded, and strictly multiplayer so it is quite hard to beleive that this mod will compete with Firewarrior in any way. I certianly will be buying their official game.

I havent heard of any mods that has been closed down by GW yet. There is actually another team who is taking this risk with a different 40k mod for hl2.

I will keep trying though. I do wish we could get a license and get rid of the disclaimer. :dozey: But at least you can be certain I wont be putting this on steam to be sold.
