Mac Owners!

I saw this movie a long time ago..funny as shizit though!
 
Ehh, I want those 10 minutes of my life back. There were no redeeming qualities about this video except for the lord of the rings music.

Yes, you can. Tell me anything you can't do.
Mac is better in alot of ways, UNIX-based, PPC arcitechture and so on. I only use Unixbased systems, either OS X or Gentoo.
I can do anything on those systems, even playing cs.

hes right. but macs arnt built as well for games yet. but i see that changing within the next 10 years

It was a joke, calm down.

And that's exactly my point, until the day I can

1) Write, compile and execute programs made in C++
and
2) Actually have a decent selection of games

I'll stick with PC. The second Macs become feasible for gaming/as capable as PCs for a few other things, I'll get a Mac.

GCC supported platforms

C++ is by no means hardware or operating-system dependent.

Also, on a side note, unrelated to anything Shuzer said, but related to the video, PCs != Windows. Some people just don't seem to understand that.

I was expecting a funny ending
I expected him to get it out
And try to do something
And have it just crash
And he cant do anything
That woulda been a good ending.

Yah, that vid was a snoozefest. The one Ikerous linked was genuinly entertaining. Simply put, both platforms crash. Both platforms have their ups and downs. So platform bashing is funny, but platform worship is just lame.

I personally cant stand Macs, and looooove PCs. But I'm a hardware hobbiest. I've been putting my own computers together from parts since I was a kid.. and thats something you cant do with Mac computers. Still I know Mac is a perfectly valid platform and cant fault someone for prefering it.
 
They both have their good points, and they both have their bad points. Now lets juice this thread up with some ICARUS MILK and get down!

Hmm.. odd, I remember hearing otherwise. Oh well, who wants to make Mac programs? ;)

Kidding. But no, once that universal emulation program comes out that someone posted a few months ago, OR more companies support Mac (hell, I'd switch in a heartbeat just to screw Microsoft over), I'll stick with Windows.
