Did you macdonalds burgers would be illegal if they din't have lettuce in them because of the amount of salt and sugar in them!!

It sounds like something made up. I don't believe that there are any legal salt or sugar levels. I mean, Candy Floss is 100% sugar, but that's not illegal.

EDIT: And I actually read the McDonald's food information sheet yesterday, and not one burger had more than 3g of salt for every 100g. There's far more in tinned food.

Actually, its almost doulbe standards letting some of the things that fast food chains sell, slip. Because, all these drugs are banned but then when you think about what McDonalds sells, and the things they put in burgers (Hey its beef if its from a cow I suppose;)) and the chemicals they use for processing...:x

I read somewhere that the Caeser (sp?) Salad has more calories than the Big Mac, which is suprising because McDonalds released the healthy food range (which isn't healthy) to boost the company's bad reputation for making American's into Pork-pies.

humm i love pork pies they dont sell them here *snif*

Did you know they can say their burgers are 100% beef because they actually are. Whats left on the cows carcass they spray off using high powered water sprayers, used to wash cars. SO what youre eating is cow lip, gum, testicle, muscle, eye, liver, anything you can think of. They also put fat into their milkshake to make it taste better. All this is in a book i have, i'll see if i can dig it up.

Also, KFC cant call their chicken chicken, because they genetically engineerd their chickens to have bigger breasts and no feathers. I'm not sure weather this is true or not though. Probably is...

Hmm I don't have any problems with McDonalds here. Mostly becuase I refuse to pay these high prices. Jeezes coke is more exspensive per litre than Petrol.

Thankyou for your time.

Well genetic engineering has been going on for centuries...it just hasnt been on the same scale. What is it they call it when you select the best of the best so to speak? Ugenics? Something like that

Eugenics. Selective breeding. Which isn't a bad thing because that's how we got Cows that give a lot of meat, also how we got dogs and cats.
