When i was young i started to collect and play Magic the Gathering. Since im grown up and find out that these cards are collecting dust in my basement, i came to a concluson to sell them, but it seems that i cant figure out what to price them. I have a total of 500+ slightly damaged cards and 250+ brand new, w/o any damages.

I ask you guys, for how much should i sell them all for.

haha i wonder how much my pokemon cards are worth? I have a shiny Charizard with 120hp! That card i remeber was pretty rare, most people wanted it, i wonder if its worth anything these days...

I hate card games where cards get a value like money..........oh lets go and buy a black lotus card for £100 .........OH SHIT I GOT IT WET WHEN IT RAINED!!!!!!! OMG!!!

I remember me and my brother forged a load of magic cards uber proffesionally......got a few quid from that ;)
They were so well done, they would prob still think it's the real deal.

The exact thoughts came to me after a couple of weeks playing it.

hockey and baseball cards I can understand but magic and pokemon cards....no.

If they're real old you might be lucky. I used to play and if I remember correctly the cards from the early 90's are now very valuable. Buy one of the card game magazines that has a price list. Scrye was always a good one I think.

No such card that I could find.

Magic's a legend. You can fetch a few coins for them, if they're not scuffed, and assuming they're "power-rares". I'm sad, I know, but I play Magic from time to time. I'm pretty good at it actually.

Yeah, a pristine Black Lotus goes for a lot of money.

Wow. How old were the cards, and when did you sell them, and to who?

It was an assorted age zombie custom mmade deck, It was 60 cards and i sold them last year to a local card shop. I probably could have gotten 400 for them but i always get free stuff from there so I cut them a deal.

Actually I probably still pwn at magic but I dont know because I havent played for a year or 2 but I still have a forest deck and an island deck i made myself.

Leveler + Shared Fate = win.

I don't see how that would work unless you use some other card-that-possibly-does-not-exist. Shared Fate only allows you to play cards that were removed from the game with Shared Fate.

Think about it. Play Shared Fate. For the rest of the game, you're removing cards from your opponent's library instead of drawing, and your opponent does the same. So, you get to use your opponent's deck.

Play Leveler. Remove your own deck from the game. Now your opponent has no cards to play with at all, but you still get to use his deck.

Administer a smackdown with a 10/10 creature.

I see now. I was thinking about how you would use Shared Fate to for the cards removed with Leveler. That was very stupid of me. That's what years without playing the game did to me.

It's a crazy combo, though, so it never works. Or at least, I got it working at one point, by using loads of Diabolic Tutors and Fabricates.

Leveler + Endless Whispers is a quick finish as well. Have Whispers out, play a leveler, sacrifice it to something, and they gain control of it at the end of your turn. Their turn begins, and they lose the game due to attempting to draw a card without a library.
