MAJOR Source Problem

I've got this error when i try to run source SDK (up to right now it has worked fine)...

Error
MountFilesystem(207) failed: SteamMountFilesystem(2028,207,0x780fbfc=,0x780fd0c) failed with error 116:Cache needs repair.

WTF? Can anyone make sense of this...I can't even get into the editor now... :sniper:

If that doesnt work I would say delete, and reinstall you cache.. somthing got corrupted.

i restarted steam and my system but no luck...should i use the option of deleting local game content?

Hold on...this is a common error. Check the SDK for further details or check out this link. I had the same error and what I had to do was re-verify my HL2 files and/or my SDK files.

I had this error an hour ago, i did what it said - restarted steam and ran HL2, it verified some files and then the SDK started to work again
