I remember this being talked about a long time ago, but if Source is really as capable of realistically portraying humans as Valve claims, what with the lip-synching and the facial expressions and the easy animating and the physics and the *whoo-hay*(Dr.Frink), I bet we'll be seeing a lot of perverted mods coming out.

So what do you think? Is Source really going to lead to this? Would you download such a mod? Is poor Alyx going to be become the plaything of nerds everywhere?
 
Jeez, a lot of people hate us already for "censoring" beta stuff. Just imagine what they'll start saying about us when we mask the URL of their favoruite "Kleiner in a thong" web site.

I think the sort of animation that would be needed would be beyond the ability of most people, and I doubt those who are talented enough would do something so puerile. Likely if we do see anything like this, it'll be pretty low quality hacks and modded images, not a real mod.

I'm willing to bet large amounts of cash that we will see several porn mods for HL2 appear very shortly after release. It'd be too funny for people to avoid doing. There'll be nude skins obviously, and the lip synched porn moans etc. Kleiner and Barney tag teaming Alyx etc.

Guaranteed.

Yeah you know how games have an option to set the level of gore? I wonder if there will be an option to set the level of "adult content." I doubt it though.

The only thing they could block out there is speech, unless they do alot more work.

And I didn't really mean adult content like that, just you know like a kiss at the end of the game, and maybe some comments and facial expressions and body language that give you the idea that sumthin' is goin' on! ;)
