I doubt he died from the pepper spray, all pepper spray does is sting your eyes so unless your allergic to it its not going to kill you. Whatever was making him act violent was probably what killed him.

You know, that is ignorant... Police officers can't beat the living crap out of a person to paralyze him. They have to be careful all the time. There's a fine line between paralyzing and beating a person. You go out there and when you meet a guy who is all messed up on speed and whatnot, you ought to try and knock him out/paralyze/restrain him or whatever you want to do. Training or not, it's damn hard to get such a person down on the ground and hold him there STEADY, so you can cuff him. It really comes down to who is the bigger guy.

I doubt the guy had an alergic reaction. Mace is very similar to peppers (ie. jalapeno) although applicated differently obviously. I live where peppers are eaten very frequently and have never heard of an allergic reaction with them.

Punch someone in the wrong place and they will die easily. Throat, uppercut to the nose, either of those can kill a person in one hit. I love seeing people taken down by like 3 or 4 cops, it's hilarious.
Oh, and trust me, if the person is on speed, they're not going down with one "paralyzing" punch. Hell, even a bullet won't always take them down.

while i agree with you entirely on principle, i really dont think you fully realize the effects acids and amphetamines have on the human body and its awareness to pain and danger. ive seen someone on pcp punch through a 2x6 with his bare fist, shattering every bone in his hand, jump the rest of the fence, and keep on running, even using that fist later on to punch cops. people on these drugs jump of 3 story buildings, fall flat on their faces, and get up and run away.

no one in the world could nor can stop someone like that singlehanded.


im a scrawny guy(6'1", 130 lbs), and i can stop 3 people(around my age---a year older actually) from being able to hold me still enough to put handcuffs on me for at least a minute or two. two of those people cant even hold me down(unless they use their size to an advantage and just sit on me or get me in a hold) without punching/kicking me. and thats on sheer determination alone, no drugs.


moral of the story......when cops come, realize that your not going to get away by fighting them. either run(most likely a waste of time unless you had it planned out already) or just give your sorry ass up. if you arent in a state to make that decision for yourself....youve already made it.

it's the same scenario that happened here a few years back...man loses temper in store, gets kicked out cops come, they attempt to restrain him (which was odd because he had calmed down) and accidently kill him (applied too much pressure to his chest...cops at the trial said they were scared of him...there were 6 cops)...sorry but it's not worth dying over, no crime is... unless you're attempting to take the life of another. Too many cops are the gung ho "lets bust your head for jaywalking" type.

I have seen over atleast 50 episodes of cops and I have never seen them use mace, I don't know wtf you are talking about.
