OP, I don't know what you were expecting from this thread, but the only thing people are going to tell you is to find another means of acquiring the game. (Pre-paid giftcards, etc)

The Half-Life Anthology was available in the US whenever it came out (around six years ago). Perhaps not anymore. You can check your local Half-Price Books. They sometimes have old pc games for cheap.

Also, all legit PC copies of Half-Life are redeemable on Steam (and if you buy the Half-Life Anthology pack it's mandatory).

My apologies. I was a stupid kid and thought ebegging would get me somewhere. Obviously it didn't and I just bought Half-Life with the (then newly released) steam gift cards like a year later. Kids, don't ebeg.

Again, my sincerest apologies. (Also editing so it doesn't create a new post). Gonna leave the other posts up because they're kinda funny in hindsight.

only 1 euro more than HL here...Which is weird,tbh...
And you can always get a token card form a bank,they will charge you some small fee,and give you a 1-use card to shop on the net with,and last time i checked,steam supported them...
