This could have been a hit if they used the RAGE engine. But that might have been a little too much...realism for the general gaming populace to handle. BTW are these PSP screens? And is this coming out on the PC?

It's for the last-gen of consoles, why is everyone crying about the lack of polygons? This is my least favorite of the Rockstar franchises but several of my friends are obsessed, looks like it has better narrative this time, at least.

Manhunt was an incredibly kick-ass experience, but I fear that most of the enjoyment I got from it stemmed from Brian Cox's voice whispering deranged instructions in my ear. This one I believe will lack such charm for me and frankly I am a little tired of the whole escape-psych-ward-guy concept anyway. The setting is completely played out nowadays....

Because this way they get to release it for the Wii and PSP - two current systems, as well as the PS2 - the most popular system available. Unlike the X-BOX, the PS2 didn't get abandoned and left to rot.

I can't wait for this, and I'll be playing it on a PS3 . The first was great ... I only hope this one holds up. I have my doubts though, I liked the premise of the first game better and it was developed by Rockstar North.

They were thinking they wanted to sell more copies.

Though I agree, a next-gen Manhunt would be amazing ... being able to actually convey horror in the faces of the people you kill would just throw the sadism over the top. Maybe add in some highly detailed blood/tear streaming effects and you're good to go.
