i need an xtracting pro thatll ex my pk files in d3

winzip, you can open the pk4's in winzip.

Anyway, why do you want to, you can't play online then because you would need other players that did the same thing (you can't connect on pure servers) and the performance gained by it is quit minimal.

who has done this, i need soem help, it not working

you just open winzip.. I know, its hard but you double click on the winzip icon it opens! thats step one.

Now you see alot of big buttons on the top and 4 of them are coloured, klick on the button with the word "Open" under it.

Wow, now you can open files, browse in your "open screen", to your doom3 folder and find the pk4's (in the base folder)

once you open them you can see its content, now extract them into the base folder and make sure you have "all files" on in your extractin screen, so it extract's all the files in the .pk4 file.

That wasnt so hard now was it.

unpacking your .pak4 files only helps if you have a slow CPU (very close to the minimum specs for Doom 3). Otherwsie you will not notice a difference at all.
