Map Props!

Im trying to figure out a way to either SPAWN items, as in wood or barrels or sheets of metal, or how i can just easily customize a map and throw in the items without hassel.

I am currently experiementing with the new gravity gun thingy with welding and id really appreciate this help! (also if all else fails, a good map suggestion would be very appreciated too example, d2_prison_04 or somthing) thanks alot guys, sry if this has been reposted over and over heh..

well to be honest, im not sure how to use hammer, i go in and theres grids and stuff everywhere, sry to be so noobish but, it still doesnt solve my problem

ya idk how to either but there is a command that can allow u to spawn objects liek that i dont know what it is? anyone know?

well i know all the commands to spawn NPC's and WEAPON's but, not props like barrels and such :'(
