It's nice to see that after years and years of mapping I've finally reached the proficiency level where I get a the before my name.

But seriously, the HL2DM contest will be tough for me because I don't know the engine that well, plus I wasn't allowed to and didnt have time to make original content, which is what I rely on to produce the looks of all my Unreal Levels. I'm eager to see what will come out of this contest because it's definitely not in the bag. Competition is a bit tougher than it was in the assault category.

few complaints with the map that don't really matter...

more importantly, found a glitch. not sure if it's entirely the map's fault.. but I tried testing it in overwatch / lockdown and couldnt do it.

1) get combine rifle + 2ndary ammo
2) go up to the platform with all the tables / filing cabinets
3) shoot the 2ndary shot, catch it
4) you can hold it in one of the cabinets... let it detonate

just watch what happens to all the physics items - if you throw them, they go through walls, if you drop them... they bounce like crack rabbits.
this doesn't stop once a new map loads, either... the server has to be restarted.

I've got demos.. I can either send them to you, or just find me and I can show it to you sometime.

Strange. But I doubt that can possibly be my fault, and I have no idea how I'd fix it, and I already submitted, so it'll have to stay as is.

As for the fileplanet link, sometimes fileplanet can be twitchy and itll say file not found. Just reload it. If anyone is willing to mirror this file please tell me. I don't like fileplanet but its my only option at the moment.

oh ya... I forgot... there's also a glitch where if you stand in a very particular spot, and look straight up at the right angle, you see a transparent wall of light.
