map wont start.

so i hit f9 to run my map, and everthing goes fine till i reach the halflife 2 main menu then the counsole should pop up but it dosen't. everything just stops, the map dosen't run. what is wrong! :angry:

you should compile but not run the map, then run Half-Life 2 or whatever and load the map manually.

similiar thing happens to me but halflife2 dont load

or take the spaces out of the filename.
