True. Since half life 2: Deathmatch isn't what I would call popular and there really isn't much to say about it.

Well here's the thing pal.

HL2DM is a multiplayer game.

99 percent of people play on dedicated servers. Servers which they do not run or own. And when those servers have custom maps, they are downloaded automatically, or can be found individually online with some googling.

Offering a map pack only going to be good for people who run servers, as a client can't do much with it unless he just wanted to create a local game and play by himself.

So, not only are there few HL2DM players who post here, there are even fewer who run HL2DM servers. That is why your thread has very little attention.
