Mappers Wanted

I'm currently working on a Side Scrolling mod that has yet to be named. The coding is pretty much done aside from adding in new content when it is available. As of this post there are only two confirmed team members and two testers. I've been the only one to make any contributions so far. I'm pretty much a jack of all trades. I, however, do not model anymore.(I'm bad at it) The other team member does not have hl2 yet, but I talked him into buying it to help me mod and other small things. (We used to make Unreal Tournament 2004 maps together.) Anyway I'm rambling, I'm looking for some mappers to help the game get a little content. We appreciate all suggestions and feedback and are not offended by constructive comments. I'm rambling again. Yay!

That looks great. Side scrolling like Streets Of Rage and Sonic *thinks of great Genesis memories* and kick-ass Source graphics= awesome game.

I have to say, this is one of the most creative ideas for using the Source engine. Man, memories of Turrican and other classic Amiga games are flooding back to me.

wow i checked out the alpha video and it looks really cool, have any idea on the "theme" of the mod yet?

Thanks for all the support. The theme is gonna stay along the lines of hl2 for visuals and such.

We plan to have Chapters set up like Castles(Mario), Zones(Sonic), and Stages(Megaman), in a nutshell. So you'll have a series of levels that have the same visual theme and such with a mini-boss and then an end boss at the end. Then onto hte next.

it must be great if you got angry lawyer to give it the awesome stamp. this is a very creative and original idea, unfortunately im busy with another mod so i cant help, but i do wish you luck!
