seeing as i am having the shit computer incapable of runing hl2, i am not yet having hl2 and cannot fiddle around in hammer :'(
anyways enough about me.
number ONE:
ropes how are they done? just make a thin brush, give it a texture and assign it as a rope or what?
number TWO:
outdoor terrain, is it like a mesh which you can raise or lower the terrain of? im thinking of mapping like in savage where it is insanely easy to create terrain, or does it still involve the tedious creation of seperate brushes and rasing and lowering vertices from hl1?
