Have any of you seen this movie? I just saw a trailer for it on HBO, and i'm not certain if its already released or not, but it looks to be a fantastic movie judging by the trailer.

So, if its already out, and some of you have seen it, please tell me what you think of it! No spoilers please.

It’s a good movie, I saw it a couple of months ago, if you like small foreign films with good story you won’t be disappointed, don’t expect to much feedback in this forums though, the majority of people here are not into foreign movies, it’s a shame IMO…

As far as I know, its not really a foreign film per se. It's a combination American/Columbian joint effort.

You could say that, but it was a low budget film with Columbian actors and in spanish language, and like I said before you won't find too much people in this forums who like this kind of movies, most people here are into whatever crap holywood will throw at them...

Some of the best movies i've seen have been small time, independent films. I make it a habit to watch films i've never even seen trailers for on national TV, when they come on my movie channels. Some of them are crappy, some of them are fantastic.

Well its not so much foreign films i'm interested in, its independent, smaller films without hollywood budgets. Doesn't matter if they're foreign or not. THough, I don't tend to watch too many films with captions for everything.

you tend to forget the movie is in a foreign language after awhile ..I'd actually prefer captions over dubbing any day

I don't like dubbing. What I mean basically is its a bit more difficult for me to pay attention to and enjoy the films if I have to constantly read the captions. I've only watched a few films like that recently, one being Hero, and one being Passion of the Christ.

I don't mind having captions throughout the movie, but its nice when there is some english too ;)

But again, like I said... I dont face that problem too much, since I dont really watch too many foreign films. I was talking about independent small time films.

ya but most people have trouble concentrating ..but you get used it ..you even start to pick out the words in the foreign language from the english translation

I think people (not you necessarily) are missing out on a lot of excellent films because they cant get beyond the subtitles

Since you guys like foreign films then go watch "Secuestro Express" now, and I mean now! it's a Venezuelan film and a very good one, you won't be dissapointed, even Miramax bought the rights because they really liked it.
