Welcome to the East Coast, quite a while ago. The song you've posted is okay, but easily out-done by a few superior artists. It'll be interesting to see where this genre goes. Hopefully somewhere a bit more interesting.

okay i know this is halflife2.net and not watmm or resident advisor but i'm going to throw this question out there anyways.

i like the idea of fidget house but haven't looked into the genre whatsoever beyond landing on some various myspace pages of varying quality. i've been going crazy over mille plateaux, raster-noton, and tresor lately, touching base on basic channel and crew as well.

anyone here in the know? lay down some essential LPs and EPs, i'm dying to see if this genre has what it takes. and i also agree with the above, ****ing stop it with the remixes and write original material. it's bad enough half of electronica anymore is unedited bought CD sample packs.

hm, looks like crookers are hitting it. i heard them mentioned elsewhere when the fidget house topic came up. diplo i've heard mentioned too, but haven't heard any.

thanks badger so i'm going to have to sort through it? i have an extremely high standard when it comes to dance music, but hey you probably do to. there's just so much rehashed garbage out there.

wonder if there's any fidget releases on kompakt records? i could totally see some of those cats getting a little more glitchy and flam, yet keeping that super-minimal feel.
