I'm not hyped. It all looks like one big sci-fi clich?, game design is just random.

The setting is deliberate, and as for random...are you tripping? It's an RPG.

I bought Jade Empire "just because it's a Bioware game", and I'll never do THAT again since that was such a pile of trash. Baldur's Gate II is the only thing they've really done right, with the Hordes of the Underdark expansion for Neverwinter Nights being the closest they've come to a good game since then really. And now they're doing this console-only garbarge... nice one.

I agree that Jade empire isn't all that, but Mass Effect is leaps and bounds beyond it in terms of what Bioware are trying to achieve. Also bear in mind it's a Microsoft game so the odds are pretty good it will be on PC 6 months or so after it's 360 release.

having just finished Kotor. I can see this engine as a natural progression forward. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Looks like this and Castle Crashers are a good reason to buy a 360.
I`m soon gonna buy my first next-gen (well, now current-gen) console. Still thinking which one to buy.

And get a 360 if you want to play more classical style games or a Wii if you want something different and have mates who will play a lot as it aint great for one player stuff yet.
