.max importer for xsi

Anyone know a good one? I can't find one anywhere and it's driving me crazy!

I think you mean .3ds, .max is 3D Studio MAX's proprietary save format.

No, I mean .max, the mod tool already comes complete with .3ds importer.

yeah and when you import a 3ds into xsi it gets all f ucked up.

It allows you to export and import in dotXSI format FROM 3dsmax, so there's no reason for a .max importer for XSI.

that works really good. you may have to reposition parts of the model, but the actual model itself wont get messed up.

well it seems to be that the link given from softimage is no longer valid. is there any other way i could get those files. they must be good because this is the second time ive come across them, and i REALLY REALLY need them.

Theres no such thing as a .max importer for Xsi. However there shouldnt be a problem importing .3ds or even .smd
