It is available at Fileshack at the moment. It contains several levels. This is for all of you who were optimistic about getting MP2.
 
Pfft, just go buy it, you'll finish it in maybe 3 hours but its all good with the mods and shit.

NW, what are these "mods" that you speak of ??? :)
 
there's the first person mod that allows you to play mp2 as fps.
 
So I downloaded the demo. How do I get past the lobby area (where the elevator & tv are)? No other doors open, can't push buttons in this stupid game, windows are all bulletproof - nothing else happens, what gives?

You can press buttons .. I forgot which key though
 
I jsut played it...I have to admit its 100% better then I thought it would be and thats jsut the demo! I'm prob gonna go out and buy it now.

The demo was really short...Nothing to get stuck on really, unless you don't know how you use the "use" key :).
 
TBH I can't be arsed with this game, if I had money to burn I would buy it or if it was longer and had mp. I might get the demo just to play with the physics and bullet time but I don't think I will derive enough amusement from the full game to justify buying it.
 
I can't afford the game and I can't afford to spend the time on the game if i am gona survive A Levels so I will settle with the demo for now. Shouldent take up quite so much work time I hope :)
 
I was expecting MP2 just a big cash cow, a really bad game, but it turns out its a brilliant game, good story, brilliant action and alot of fun watching poeple fly through the air filling em full of lead :)
 
Any good MP2 mods out yet? Where can I get them and wich are rox0r? :)
EDIT: Oh and you gotta love the reloading effect when ur in *focus* mode
 
I believe its called bullet time in Max Payne and Focus in the Matrix. I may be wrong.
 
Is the demo actual levels taken from the regular game? If so which ones. I don't want to ruin the plot before I buy the game.
 
the demo only takes about 10 minutes to complete, so it's actually the full game.
 
heh, its all good fun. Max payne never had much replayability though. Possibily because of all the cut scenes you have to cycle through


Looked AMAZING though. (Still didnt test my PC in the slightest mind. Maps all loaded in 1.5 secs flat! :D)

Its Part 1 chapter 1 and 2 of the game. So basically just the very beginning. Nothing is ruined for you.

Nobody cares how "good" your PC is. Take your worthless boasting elsewhere.

lol, it was boasting in a way. I am just very very happy with my PC right now. Thats all. If it made you feel inadequate (cant spell) then sorry :p


If I really wanted to boast I would post me specs or put them in my sig. But I don't.



soooo, I will disregard Ironclasts comment because it does get annoying when people boast. I know because I had a old PC only a few weeks ago ish. :)
 
Yeah, I'm sure whoever this "Ironclast" fellow is feels really inadequate.
 
He was just commenting on the good load times on the game. He never said anything like, "Oh I have a computer with these spec (list specs here) and it loads so fast!" That would be boasting.

Does anyone know any cheats or trainers for this demo. I would like infinate ammo so I can have some more fun with the physics.
Good demo btw, annoying when it ends though. Really leaves you wanting more. Which is its whole purpose I suppose :)
Oh and it unlocks that mint game mode an all!! :D
 
I tried the demo, but it's really not mind kind of game at all, I didnt even bother finishing the demo, the atmosphere of the game makes me naucious.
 
well, i hope the physics in hl2 are better than the physics in mp2..
 
MP2 cheats -

" -developer -developerkeys" put that on the target line of the .exe

pull down the console

coder = god mode, all weapons, 'infinite' ammo (still need to reload)
 
I love that Dead Man Walking Mode. It really tests your survival skills and even helps make you better.
 
well if I didnt have dial up i would dload this, I'm going to go shoot myself in the head brb.
